-Core hunting action from the original series retained
-Enhanced MMORPG combat system to be applied

NCSOFT unveiled its new global MMORPG ‘Horizon Steel Frontiers’ for the first time on November 13 (KST) at G-STAR 2025.
The company is developing ‘Horizon Steel Frontiers’ based on the Horizon IP owned by Guerrilla, a studio under Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). The game inherits the core elements of the Horizon franchise, including its signature hunting action, and is set in the Deadlands, a territory of machine hunters.
NCSOFT plans to introduce differentiated features by combining an advanced combat system tailored for the MMORPG genre with highly detailed character customisation options that offer a high degree of freedom.
Alongside the reveal, the company opened the official brand webpage for ‘Horizon Steel Frontiers’ and released a trailer and developer interview highlighting key features of the game. The trailer showcases the game’s unique universe, mechanical creatures, and large-scale combat.
In the developer interview, Jan-Bart Van Beek, Studio Director and Art Director at Guerrilla, expressed his expectations for the new Horizon experience that will be presented through the collaboration with NCSOFT.
Additional information about the game will be released sequentially through the official brand website. At launch, the game will support cross-platform play on mobile and PC (PURPLE).
